Having heard of this film and definitely not wanting to see another bad Hollywood flick from a Marvel comic I tried my hardest to steer well clear of it. Unfortunetly a friend asked me to the movies and I stupidly said yes without asking what we would see. You can imagine my groan when I got there to be told I would see Iron Man.
As the film started I settled into my seat determined to have a kip and prentend I was somewhere else, anywhere else in fact so that the time would pass quickly. After the first few scenes which were army type action shots I thought the film would be never ending however to my surprise mid film things drastically improved and I found myself actually watch what was going on and dare I say it even enjoying this film. By the time we were getting to the end part of the film I was truly into the action and whether good would conqeur evil yadi yadi yah. Having not wanted to see this film I am happy to say to anyone out there wondering if they should/ shouldn't see it - make the leap and watch it it may surprise you. marks out of ten = 5
